Less Than Three Press is turning four years old and they're thus doing a bloghop. You can check out the masterpost HERE, with links to all the other wonderful authors participating.
So what do I love, besides writing? Reading, television, music, is what comes to mind. As the hop runs for fourteen days, I've decided to do a post for each of those three and spread it over the two weeks. Each post will also host a giveaway, so be on the look-out for them!
Today I want to talk a bit about television. There are so many good television series out there I've enjoyed tremendously. One of my all-time favourites is Queer As Folk US. Who can keep from falling in love with Gale Harold as Brian Kinney? No matter what a tosser Brian is, he's just so loveable being it.
As for more recent shows, I am entirely hooked on Teen Wolf and I really cannot wait for the third season to start up in June. Derek Hale and Stiles Stilinski, they make that show, I tell you. I am most definitely a Sterek shipper.
Another show I'm quite hooked on is Shameless US. I just watch the penultimate episode of the third season, and next week will bring the finale episode. I'm going to re-watch that show several times, I'm sure, as the fourth season won't premiere before 2014.
Other shows I'm following and enjoying is The Vampire Diaries, Grey's Anatomy and Glee. I'm looking forward to Hannibal starting, and I want to keep watching The Following (I've only seen the first episode, which was quite good!) and after seeing the finale of Private Practice, I'd like to start in on that series as well.
* * * GIVEAWAY * * *
One lucky commenter will win one (1) ebook of their choice from my backlist. All you have to do to be in the drawing is to tell me what TV show you love most of all and leave me an e-mail so I can contact you. This giveaway will run until Wednesday April 10th.
Favorite show? I don't even think I have a favorite right now, but I haven't missed any Downton Abbey, The Walking Dead or Project Runway lately. There are so many shows I want to watch because I hear great things, but then there's life to live and books to read!

I haven't actually watched any of those. Or, well, I have seen episodes of Project Runway, but I haven't been following it or anything. They all seem very interesting though! ^_^
DeleteI agree with you about Queer as Folk US. I couldn't help loving every moment of it.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite show currently is NCIS. I've always liked crime dramas, but something about this one is really enjoyable.

I am so happy to hear that! I love it when people love the same shows as me :-P
DeleteNCIS is quite enjoyable, yes, but I've sadly not been following it. I see episodes here and there, but nothing more. Someday I wish to watch it properly. ^_~
Everyone keeps talking about Teen Wolf. I need to watch it.
DeleteIf I'd have to pick one show I love I'd have to choose between Castle and Dr. Who. Both complete opposites, but both with two incredibly charismatic main characters. In the end I'd go with castle because the humor is more my style and the murder cases are very fascinating.
Oh, another very good show is Dexter, though the whole serial killer thing is a bit creepy. But the show in itself is really interesting because it goes deep into psychological and philosophical issues. I definitely recommend that one. Never thought it'd be possible to like a serial killer, but this show successfully proves that.

Oh yes, you definitely need to watch Teen Wolf, it is AWESOME! ^_^ I'm thinking about starting in on Castle soon, it seems really interesting. And Dexter is a really good show!
DeleteI adore Invader Zim more than is probably healthy. But tough cookies. I've been dubbed as close to being Gir as any organic earth creature can be. I LOVEDED YOU, PIGGY! I LOVEDED YOU!!!! efoster919(at)yahoo
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of Invader Zim, but it's sure an intriguing title! ^_^
DeleteI really love Face Off and Project Runway.
