30 Days of Character Development: Day 10

10.) Can you define a turning point in your character’s life? Multiples are acceptable.

Damian: When he met and befriended Silver, which proved to him that he was able to make friends. Also when the two of them decided to move out and become roommates the summer before Damian started university. The biggest turning point in his life was when he met Josh, definitely.

Josh: When he was sixteen and tried to kill himself. The abuse was revealed and he managed to finally connect with his mother, who was wracked with guilt of not having noticed. Another turning point was when he met Damian, proving to him that he could maintain a relationship with another human without sex being involved.

Silver: The car accident. Silver drove the car that killed his two best friends and boyfriend. It left him wracked with guilt and when his self-destructive behaviour became to much his parents shipped him off to London to stay with his brother, who is a psychiatrist. Also, finding love a second time with Kian.

Kian: When his dad came back into his life when he came off age, with his new wife and son. Kian finally had a shot at a normal family then. Second turning point was meeting and falling in love with Silver.
